TGS or tokyo game show is comeing up, nintendo is about to annonce something, and the holliday season is almost here, wich all means shinney new games. so before i go broke download... i mean buying.... yeah buying all these new games let me talk about when ive been playing and will probably keep playing long after im done with what ever i get in the next couple of months.
Right now im playing something on my pc, ds, wii and wiiware(yeah the last 2 are the same but shut up).psp is collecting dust.
On my pc im playing the online mode of COD4 or call of duty 4.
this game has the most addictive online deathmatch fps of any game i have played before it. I think this is becuase of how realistic it is in turms of how easy it is to be killed. this game has no health metter. no shilds, no health pickups. if you get shot say 2 or 3 times in a row your done. that sounds like it would be a bad . but it just leaves me wanting more, trying to do better, last longer and kill the guy who just got me. since im talking about just online, that means no story to dictate when im done playing, so im never done playing.
Alright let me talk about my ds game, oh and a good reason why im spending so much time with this is becuase i can bring it with me to work, were i basicly do nothing for 8 hours.
This one i have talked about before, and im still playing it that should say something. Im talking about ffta2 or final fantasy tactics advanced two gilmore and the rift (is the title long enough)
So how long exactly have I been playing this game? well i can tell you cuase the game tells me,65:31:59, thats 65 hours, 31 minets and 59 seconds. for a hand held, thats really amazing.
So if your a complete noob let me explain what final fantasy is. its an rpg or role playing game, were your main character, threw a story, saves the day/world/whatever. becuase of the word "tactics" this game isn't so much focused on story telling but gameplay. So your character grows thew the game, kind of like a real person, you gain experince and lern new things to fight with. and you get stonger aka leveling up. So im only at lvl 42 in the game and you can advance all the way up to 99! think about that, im 65 hours into the game and im not even halfway to the maximum. So good game, probalby gonna talk about it seven more times. and this is the real kicker. once you finish the game you can start over on a harder dificulty lvl. OMG!!!
So thoughs games i have had for a while and im still playing them. the next two im curently playing are new in contrast. and both for the wii, one disc format and one download via wiiware.
First ill talk about the disc format one.

talking about star wars forced unleashed! great game (thanks eve). I think im about half way threw, not sure about that. And let me just say i wish the wii was the only version of this game. having seen the ps3 version i have to admit this game looks meh, but the conroles for the wii are more than enough to keep me playing. To use force push you, while holding the numchuck, push your left hand forward. To force choke you turn your wrist upsidedown. Now for the lightsaber, it dosn't work like you would want 1:1, but i have played zelda, okimi and this game is by far the most responsive. i swing left the charicter swings his light sabor left, swing up he swings up, every time. its very satisifing.
I have a few grips abou the story, what i thought i was getting was a game were you finaly got to play as an evil blood thursty villian in a star wars game. but the main charicter does a 180 and turns good and i found my self booing the tv screen. but im still playing to make him kill as much as he can. I dont know how much of it im gonna play after i win it. from what i understand the ps3/xbox 360 games have multiple endings. if the wii does ill be very happy to play it again.
So the last game im currelty plays is also a wii game, a more acurate discription would be its a nes game. yup talking about mega man 9

As for the game. one the net its desibed as hard. I can see that. it took me about 60 tries to get the right timing in sparkman (or whatever his name is) first part of the level to not fall hit the spikes and die. what really kills me is dieing right before the 2nd half of the lvl and starting all over again. but its so satisfing to kill the boss and here that bit of music. I have only defeated 2 bosses so far, so ive got a long way to go to finishing this game. very happy with it.
So thats what ive been up too. and im sure your wondering how im playing 4 games at once. well im not playing at the same time. but depending on my mood, these games are all very diffenr't from eachother so its acutally pritty easy.
what nice is i dont need to run out and spend the rent money on a bunch of new games, these game will hold me over for a good while.
