wanna kill some time, do it right!

So i found a new game that kind of fits in a catigory of games that i dont think many people know about. That would be simple, fun, free or close to it games. Know if you have an xbox 360 you can get them on xbox live, or a ps3 the playstion store. But i bet you dont, so you can enjoy these on any basic pc that can go online. so i will aproche them from that point of view and talk about the pc versions.

So ill cover the free ones, wich isn't to say that these are bad, just free. and you only need an internt browser(i use firefox, but ie will work just fine)and adobe flash.

So the first one ill talk about is fl0w.

fl0w is a little bit like pac man, same basic principles, exept the food makes you bigger. and as you go deeper into the game you face tougher bad guys so you wanna be as strong as possible. sounds stressfull right, but the music will put you in such a relaxed state. and its a big game. once you get to the bottem with one type, you unlock another.

The next game is the one i just stated playing, its a platformer(like mario bros).

its called n ... yeah thats it just n, it stands for ninja

So the game play is simple, you have to get from the starting point to the exit. theres a time limit that will run out if you dont get there in time. but you can collect coins to extend the time. sounds boaring? well its not as easy as it sounds, cuase you have to bounce from wall to wall, springing high in the air, and if you miss your mark you will fall to your death. there are also missle launchers, lazers, killer robots. there are 100 levels to get past. and its all free.

This last one isn't free :( but its only 10 bucks). its called geometry wars.

Its got such an old school vibe to it. Think astroids, on X. so your a little v shaped ship that can shoot in any direction, which is good cuase your gonna have 50 or so enimies comming at you from all directions. it has great music playing in the background. once you get in the zone you get sucked in to this one. great stuff.

This one is off line too, to get it you need to install a program called steam, wich is an aplication for downloading whole games legally. the program is free. there is even a link to it here

So that should be good for now. And again these games can be played on a number of different platforms. i have played flow on my psp and ps3. and geometry wars for the wii is what really sold me. give these games a try, i bet you like em.
